After Jim Carrey & Elon Musk, Farhan Akhatar joined #DeleteFacebook movement

On screen Milkha Singh is running away from FACEBOOK, probably due to data theft issue.  Facebook users’ most horrible nightmare came true as the social media portal came under growing scrutiny after a political data firm got right to use to confidential information on 50 million Facebook users. Farhan Akhtar isn't first. As #DeleteFacebook movement gathered momentum, many people like Elon Musk, Cher and Jim Carrey have also deserted Facebook. Actor-Director Farhan Akhtar has become the most recent celebrity to quit Facebook in the wake of the Facebook data breach row.  Hollywood actor Jim Carrey, who quit the fashionable social media platform in February–, moreover took Twitter to condemn the company's head Mark Zuckerberg.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Motors and SpaceX, said on Saturday in a tweet that Facebook gives him a feeling of nervousness and fear. Replying to a news report about Tesla and SpaceX deleting their Facebook pages, he said, “It’s not a political statement and I didn’t do this because someone dared me to do it. Just don’t like Facebook. Gives me the willies. Sorry.
